Interesting test by EA5DOM and EB3FRN 

after the successful EME tests , 3 cm and 24 Ghz terrestial links
over 200 miles plus range,

The latest involves the newly released geo stationary satilite 

Spots showing for 23cm on thenpsk map and the ooera data base
are actually , dual band sports via the new Es’Hailsat2 satellite 

Luis reports , excellent results , using the op05 mode , 

Probably the ideal sat beacon mode, -20 db sensitivity , virtually zero bandwith , and with 50% duty cycle , only 15 seconds of
Carrier in the 30 second time line , easy on the power budget , and a data decode, adif listed for dx hunters

Amazing result given the antenna is an omni.

Suggests that with an 80cm dish you could use just 100 milliwatts, which I believe is the 2.4 GHz power limit imposed on radio amateurs in Sweden.

Hi Trevor 

Yes that got lost in the translation ...

The psk  reporter has reached it limit for band's , 23cm  is the highest band 
Opera reporting system used the psk map dll 

So, the two sessions  of opera are set to 23 cm and are reporting as 23cm
The ea  database is also reporting 23cm

There is a work around for 10ghz , by adding a '.' Stop In front of the rx call 
This only corrects the ea data base ...There is no real instant fix, as the
Coding   structure is 'fixed' 

Luis reports using a diamond 3 band vertical , as the up link ae
Giving good results for ssb as well ...

to use the  sat link , with  web-sdr-rx  only requirement is the  ability to
on/off  key a carrier  on 2.4 GHz ,  power  and Ae  requirements  appear to  be  minimal

Continuing  tests  over the  sat link,  some issues with using the  web-sdr link  for  data
has been observed,   [ nb , slight loss  of absolute sensitivity, would appear to be a  feature of using  and of the 
web sdr system's perhaps not confined to  the  sat down link , opera being self synchronized , is not affected by
link  delays]

Luis, EA5DOM, Reports ,

Significant low signal  improvement , over the  web linked sdr
using  local  10GHz rx,  with  gps disciplined  LMB
