Windows often has a "Stereo Mix" device to receive what you are sending. On a couple of machines it disapeared with an update, but these ideas fixed it (One on each machine) https://thegeekpage.com/st

Thanks Rick, Jose, and Winlink folks .
Matthew, The ARDOP busy is designed to detect any signals in the pass band, not just ARDOP signals. I don’t know details of the VARA busy detect, but practical experience suggests it does the same. Of

VARA P2P NOW AVAILABLE !
I run two copies when testing. You can change the port number in the TNC and Winlink Express. You need to install two copies of each in in different directories. 73, John G8BPQ

Monitoring VARA
No, you can't monitor, but if VARA receives a connect request for a call other than yours it will report it, I think in the CANCELPENDING message. BPQ will log this to its VARA driver window. 73, John

VARA or Winmor station ?
It is possible to run a BPQ32 station with VARA, ARDOP, Pactor and WINMOR on the same radio. Obviously only one can be used at a time, but the system will respond to a call from any one of them. 73, J

VARA please excuse my ignorance
At the moment VARA can operate in 3 modes: Client, where Winlink Express connects to it via a local TCP connection and VARA connects out to a remote VARA system in Gateway or BPQ Mode. Winlink Express
